Played Colorado GC (Crenshaw/Coore) earlier today and have a few hours to kill at the hotel, so why not do what every man in his mid 30's would do to pass time - post bad pictures on GCA.com.
I've had the pleasure to play with golf's most beloved photographer in the past. And as you know, Ran is a pro that knows how to handle a camera and also brings a couple of extra batteries when he is out on the course. I obviously didn't learn anything from him since my pictures sucks and the battery died on the 8th hole.
Is that the entrance sign or are you just very happy to see me?
Well, the thunder storms made taking a cart sound like a good idea.
Hole 1 - par 5, 630 yds from the black tee
Hole 1 - gloomy view of the approach
Hole 2 - a pretty nice one shotter that plays 150 and a bit uphill
The green on 2nd.
On to the thrilling and partly blind tee shoot on the 3rd, par 4, 423 yds
The approach on 3rd
The second on the demanding 4th, par 4, 471 yds
Green bunker royal on the 5th, par 4, 466 yds
Trouble to left and trouble to the right on this 219-yds long par 3.
Tee shot on the short par 4, 8th that plays 305 yds uphill.
The green on 8th.
And that's it.
No pictures of the back nine means that I can't show you anything of the interesting 16th - a par 5 with a split fairway and the redan-ish 17th. Or the two-tiered green on the 11th. Or the inviting 12th. Or the... Well, you get the idea.
