Chip:

I will be there myself the first week of June.  I think the course is actually open now, although they've had a really cold spring (it snowed 7 inches three weeks ago!) and the last three holes are still well behind the rest of the course.  I can't wait to see it myself.

Tom - How long has it been since you visited.  Have there been any dramatic finishing touches that you didn't witness firsthand that you are anxious to see?

Tim:

The last time I saw the course was last June.  There were only seven or eight holes grassed at that time, even though all of the final greens shaping was complete when I left ... so there have been a LOT of "finishing touches" but I don't know exactly what to expect on them.  The one I am most curious about is the bridge on #13, if it got built at all (it was a six-figure "extra" I suggested to make the course more walkable).

The course will be open to the members June 19th. Been a cold spring here and things are just getting going now...

Mat, any word on that bridge yet?

Tim, I know your question wasn't directed at me but I'd love to see how 18 turned out. When someone posted a link to the updated website I was pretty disappointed to not see a picture of 18.  There were a few things on that hole which I hope to see in person one day. Also wondering how that front right green side bunker on 16 looks fully grown in, glad I got to work on that one, just hope I didn't screw it up too much.

Ryan,

The bridge on #13 was completed this spring and turned out amazing-  not like anything I've ever seen on a golf course...As for the right front greenside bunker on #16, it's not fully grown in and established yet- but when it does, it will sure have the 'wow' factor. As for #18, it's coming along quite nicely......
