Our client for Riverfront was a 1-handicap golfer who's a member of Pine Valley and Butler National. He wanted the golf course to be challenging. I knew that there were quite a few marsh carries which would make it hard for the average golfer -- we did put in some alternate tees to mitigate the difficulty in that respect -- but I thought there was a lot of short grass and I'm surprised to hear about the difficulty of "sidehill lies" on a course that has a TOTAL of fourteen feet of elevation change.
