Mark:
Roxiticus was started by some of the New York Yankees (Mantle, Berra, Martin, etc.)
I played it last year. There are a couple of good holes but the overall course does not do justice to the property.
The start is rather awkward (straight downhill then 90 degrees left) Anywhere from rescue to 6 iron off the tee. There was not one singular buker on the course (with the exception of a hole redone by Hurdzan and Frye) that had any golf value at all.
Beautiful rolling piece of property with the remnant of an old estate complete with stable (wherre the pro shop is housed) and other quaint out-buildings. I don't know how much of this course is Purdy, I would bet that it has been monkeyed with over the years.
Would be way down on the list for a re-visit, especially given the options in the near area.
