I was wondering why Faldo and German developers. Then it clicked.
One of the best known courses in the country is at Sporting Club Berlin, now know as Arosa I believe, and the crown jewel of the three courses is the IMG EGD Faldo course. My bet is they are banking on the popularity of that course, and that his name is known among German golfers. Still, I can't think of many people heading to a remote island that has Scottish type weather. Then again, who would have thought some of the remote success stories would have fared so well?
Is sport salmon fishing still alive and well there? That would be a pull almost on par with golf.
I wish them well. Golf doesn't need developments that go kaput.
