Temporary Clubhouses ...

During construction and the early revenue days of a new course, the clubhouse/golf shop is usually a temporary structure.

How is this for temporary?

About 7 years ago a co-worker and I hosted our CEO for a round at the club to which we belonged, which had had just opened a brand new clubhouse.  Although the clubhouse was nothing elaborate, it was pretty nice.  After we played, as we were walking in for lunch, our CEO turns to us and says "is this temporary?"  My co-worker and I just sort of looked at each other and smirked.

I liked the temporary club house at Chechessee Creek.
It is now the caddie 'shack'.

The 'new' clubhouse is excellent as well.

Bob,

The new one is 13000sf and I'm sure it will not be a monument to excess. It opens late this year.The old one is very good.
