...in Louisville, KY...anyone know who was the original architect back in 1926?

Could be just the ticket!  All the info I'm coming up with shows the 1926 origins date, but Rees Jones as the archy...NOT LIKELY!  He did the re-do in 2004 though.

I played Big Spring last year in the US Mid Am qualifier. All I could come up with is Rees Jones also. I do know that he did dig up the course and really nothing is the same. Holes rerouted everything is different from what I could gather from the locals.

More good input...thanks for the reply.  It loooked to me like lots had changed, especially on the back nine.  I kind of felt that some of the holes were less "touched", and for me the course did not flow all that well because of it.
