Is 6 natural birdies like a "natural hat trick" whereby the three goals are scored consecutively?

Is there such a thing in tournament golf as an unnatural birdie (i.e. one made with a handicap stroke?)

Forgive me if I'm wring, but I thought a natural hat trick was three goals IN THE SAME PERIOD?  I could be wrong though...anyone know?

Jay,

A hat trick in ice hockey is 3 goals in the same game. I guess a natural hat trick is 3 consecutive goals.

Jay,

Brauer has it right, a "natural" hat-trick in hockey is three consecutive goals, while a hat-trick is three scored in one game. Further, the Gordie Howe hat-trick, which consists of one goal, one assist and one fight within the course of a single game.

Of course a natural hat trick is three consecutive goals in one game.  A Dave Schultz is three consecutive Rangers knocked out of a single game  ;)

Mario Lemieux once recorded a "5-Goal Hat Trick" in which he scored in all five possible game situations in one game. He scored on a powerplay, shorthanded, even strength, penalty shot and an empty net goal.

The record for fastest hat trick is held by Bill Mosienko.  On March 23, 1952, playing for the Chicago Blackhawks, he scored three goals in 21 seconds against the New York Rangers.  Doubtful that record will ever be broken.

And a Roy Keane hat trick is one goal and two cards.  :)
