Player's comments at the Masters - OT
« on: April 06, 2007, 05:20:42 PM »
Phil just pounded a slice into the woods on 11 and immediately reinacted his drive on 18 at the US Open last year by exclaiming, "OH, NOOOoo!"

Earlier I saw Todd Hamilton pull one into the woods on the left of 13 and shout, "G-D it!!!" Except he didn't say G-D it. That one was on the Amen Corner live feature of masters.org where they must have had the loudest micorphone on earth right next to the tee box.

Classic...

anyone else?

Phil just got relief from some kind of cable about 50 feet into the woods. The relief moved him from behind trees to more or less a clear punch out.

Obviously Phil learned the right place to hit it on 11 from Ernie.

Good luck has to start somewhere.

I could've swore I just heard Adam Scott say to his caddy " Did you see the water in the cup?".

On the masters.org Amen Corner feed....

GCA God also known as Ben Crenshaw said yesterday:

“I have fun playing it. It’s very imaginative and you need a lot of instinct and feel.”
