my experience in 2006 was that I brought the sun everywhere except my first game in the US (San Fran and Meadow Club) and last played game (Pie Valley).  The UK golf was in excellent weather.

On this occasion, I had light drizzle (not rain) in Ojai and Valley Club.

And in London, it had been snowing (apparently) but has been fine since I arrived.

I have guaranteed good weather in Fife by acquiring goretex golf shoes and new rain gear for the coming week.  I am available for Bandon bookings Tom!

James:  OK, fair enough.  I just read about more rain and recalled some from before and figured that was the career path.  If your trade is more in sun, than of course we have times when we are in need of those services also.
