Get it?

But, really. I'm not sure where to start with this one.

www.pelicanhill.com

Let's do this: after you watch the video, come back here and post about which line was your favorite.

I'll start with "Now, in an era dominated by relativism..."

Trump's statement that his course in California is rated #1, of course that is probably true, since he is in charge of the rating, which leads me to think, since he owns these Miss Universe Pagents, ....
Live Jupiter, Fl, was  4 handicap, played top 100 US, top 75 World. Great memories, no longer play, 4 back surgeries. I don't miss a lot of things about golf, life is simpler with out it. I miss my 60 degree wedge shots, don't miss nasty weather, icing, back spasms. Last course I played was Augusta

Pat,
maybe it did (which is even a more amazing quote), but I just ate breakfast and can't stomach a relisten.

The world does need asshole traps to keep 'em out of the good places but this sets a new standard.

Now in second place after Pat's "Are you really thread".  I'd go to Pelican Hill in a second if they money is right...

Well Atunyote at Turning Stone Casino saying they are as good as Whistling Straits and Pinehurst because both facilities held the Club Pro championship ranks right up there.  So does when they looked the other way when someone called them "Fazio's Northern Augusta."

But yes, the PH ad is a little syrupy.

what do you guys think of the golf courses?  I have never been.

Am I wrong, or does the guy say "Fairways that seem to genuflect to naturally rugged arroyos?

Genuflecting fairways?

I was struck by the notion of comparing a resort that hasn't even opened yet to artistic achievements that are still pre-eminent hundreds of years after they were created.

Give it time. Pelican Hill may someday really be comparable to......Michelangelo's Pieta.........yeah. Sure.

Comparing any golf course to Michelangelo's Pieta' leaves me without words.

The one thing that constantly ran through my mind during the video was, "How much did the poor bast*rd who was reading the script have to drink beforehand"?

That was one of mine, too.  The other was, "what advertising agency put together this drivel?"  They were kind enough to include a "replay" button for those who missed some key points of the presentation first time around.

Will that video convince anyone to check out PH?
