As much as I don't want to start this thread...

Golf Magazine...March 2007, p. N7

My Hometown (even though Donald only went to school here)

Where to Play....

Donald: "Peter N. Jans Community Golf Course in Evanston is the tightest course in America.  It's a par-3 course, with a couple of par 4s.  It's the kind of place that's open even if there's snow on the ground."

Someone should show him the Reverse PJN...

Dan : Give Luke a break.  He's getting married soon, has a lot on his plate.  He also carries around athe mind of an artist, so I'm sure he appreciates the majestic routing created by Bendelow @ Jans.

I was solely pointing out that he is an Englishman by birth, thus Chicago would not be his "hometown," the title of the article.

I know nothing about Peter Jans, just that it's the subject of the running joke here.  Thought it was weird to see it mentioned in GM.  

This thread was only a product of yesterday's work boredom.  I actually tried to delete it at one point.

Delete it? How dare you? We all hunger for news of the infamous Jans National! However, it is such an exclusive club, getting to play the RPJN is probably more difficult than getting onto ANGC.
