I just got this as a Christmas gift yesterday (kudos to my 20 yrd old sister!) and the photos are just awesome.

It also weights about 15 pounds!

If that book doesn't get you pumped about crossing the pond, than nothing will.

I'm heading back to Scotland and Ireland in April, and the book has proven invaluable in planning this trip.  I've got a dozen of so other Scotland & Ireland golf books, but Jim Finnegan's insightful descriptions of the courses and Larry Lambrecht's wonderful photography really sets it apart from the others.

I'm afraid to break open the plastic.  Because if I do, I know I won't get any work done for awhile.   ;D

I felt lucky last week and ordered a copy. A new project came through...maybe now I'll order books more often!  ;D

It looks great. I have yet to crack open the wrapping.

Yes...Amazon is $37 and free shipping if you have status as a chronic shopper.

It is an incredible bargain.  The price for what you get is hard to believe. Finnegan's love for golf in GB & I makes it a good read and the pictures make you want to pack.
