A hint that he many not even be aware of  . . . this GCAer played golf at University with a guy who after University worked with a guy in the golf industry who now owns a jeans company with Bono (how's that for 6 degrees of separation)?

I had to look twice to determine it wasn't me.  The putting style is different.

I know who it is.  Very good player.  He and I have the same middle name.

It looks like a broomstick putter.  That can't bode well for those greens at your club.

Yes, Mercer is one of this GCAer's names.  

BTW, Sat. he ran off 3 birdies in a row on 7-9.  About a month ago he had 67 with me and left about 4 shots out there.  

Putting is not his strongest club in the bad, sandwedge likely is.
