Are those the dreaded Rhododendrons behind the 12th green and on the inside of the 9th?!

I guess they must look quite pretty in bloom, but do they belong on a golf course?

Keith

There are a few banks of rhodos around the course.  They look great when in bloom, but they are ball swallowers.  I don't like them unless they are well out of play.

Great pics, seems like a great course.

Based solely on pics, I see some Pine Valley in there.

Am I off base?

Don't know Voytek, but if you get me on Pine Valley I'll get you on Swinley and we can report back to the guys. Deal? ;D

I wish, man...

The only 3 times my unworthy feet touched PVGC's soil was at the Crump Cup, when the club is open to the public for walking....  :)

& the only guaranteed I access I can promise you to Swinley is as far as the new electronic gate they were installing Tuesday!

But seriously the whole 'Heathland look' needs the Heather and surely it's too hot at PV for that. Also no hells half acre or waste areas here just small and deep(ish) bunkers.
