Pending Changes at Riviera??

Does anyone have any details about the "changes"?  

I assume that its being done to attract a major, however, after admiring Riviera from afar year after year, and again this weekend, i question the intent (as i'm sure many in the treehouse do....).

I apologise if this has been covered in another thread... a quick recon couldn't find it... be a dear and point me there if you can!

Only advertised changes so far are a new irrigation system and redo of the bunkers for drainage purposes.

i had heard more that some more significant work was going to be done a few times over the past few weeks...

with very little digging this afternoon (after a lack of response - and partly to make sure i wasn't dreaming all this!) i found Geoff Shackelford refers to "changes" to Riviera in his weekend wrap up, noting that Riviera was about to "undergo a major meddling".

David Druzisky noted in the other Riviera CC thread that the irrigation project might be on-going in April.  Does anyone have any more specific details on the dates, and whether the course/holes will be closed?  Thanks.
