Hysterical!

I stole this from Shack's site.  It's a link to John Huggan's article in The Scotsman.  It is as funny as they come.  The recurring part about Mickelson brought tears to my eyes I was laughing so hard.

Thanks for the heads up Geoff!

Enjoy.

My initial reaction after reading Huggan's piece is, this might be one of the greatest golf columns of all-time!

Funny, and meaningful at the same time.

I really think that he is on to something here...the PGA tour is in near crisis mode, without Tiger there is no tour!!!  If Tiger starts making babies with elle and takes time off a la Phil, what's Finchie gonna do?

Jonathan,

That was cute.

But, what truth there be in jest.

A battle exists between:

The game of "golf" and the "manufacturers"

The arbitors are:

The ruling bodies of golf, the USGA, The R&A and the PGA.

If "golf" prevails, so will the manufacturers.
If the manufacturers prevail, "golf" won't.

It's a battle of values.

Geoff Shack, imitation is the sincerest form of flattery. Or, are you using a pen name now?
No actual golf rounds were ruined or delayed, nor golf rules broken, in the taking of any photographs that may be displayed by the above forum user.

Huggan just about says it all for modern golf and the way it's GOVERNED !
Ironic, truthful, unmerciful, sarcastic, honest, great stuff from Scotland's No 1 golf writer ! But isn't it a shame he's so bloody right ?

Sorry. So sorry. I really must APOLOGISE to the R&A / USGA for such outrageous comments by Mr Huggan.

Alfie.

And yet another technology year has begun  :-[

Yeah, I read that already, got it on my favorites...I am just tired of people in the golfing indsutry bashing tiger for not playing as much as he did before....I believe family comes first then golf....but, phil is another issue...he is just lost....

The best laugh I got out of was when Amy played in the Open to get away from Phil for the week. ;D

Huggan is great.  He makes points while still keeping it light.
