Point O' Woods is indeed a good golf course. For the record, it has hosted the Western Am.-not the Open, since the early 70's. I have played it a number of times and there are several holes there worth mentioning-the par 5 2nd with the second shot over a ravine, the short par 4 5th, and the long par 3 17th across water. However, it is perhaps the most heavily wooded golf course I have ever played. Several holes, most notably the dogleg par 4 7th, almost seem as if they employ trees as the hole's primary hazard (primarily from the tee). I have never understood the ranking thing, because it is not even the best course in Berrien County, Michigan.
