Informational purposes only, I have no affliation.  PV is the site of the Karsten Turf Challenge which supports turfgrass and environmental research in AZ.  PV hosted the State Am a couple years ago.  It will be held 11/14/05, Monday.  The web site is cactusandpine.com.  

Any one interested in playing, preferrably a single digit, email me as we may need a fourth.  Any info on the course would be appreciated, as it is one of the few in AZ I have not played.

I haven't played it, only driven by it. However on a O/T note which Forrest "Jungle" Richardson will more then backup--watch your speed limit around Paradise Valley! Smokey the Bear is everywhere around there and he has a book of fresh speeding tickets ready to write to anyone, even if your a mile over the speed limit! (Or so I'm told!)

Just remember, Only you can prevent speeding tickets......

It's been years since I played it but from what I remember, it's not all that difficult of a course if you can maintain your focus. Not a lot of room for errant shots. I believe they have redone their greens but when I played it, they were pretty tame but fast. It's not really much of a desert course. Fairly short and tight with thick rough.

Just be sure to remove your hat in the 19th hole  ::)
