Robert:

The quotes in the article were all taken from the press kit, which is more than a year old now.  No one from GOLF COURSE NEWS called me to ask how the project is going, and nobody called Jack either, apparently; he's been saying much nicer things about me this spring.

As for pictures, Mr. Pascucci has asked us not to distribute any pictures of the course in progress for the time being ... he's reserving the first pictures for an "exclusive" article that will be published in the fall.  I realize he can't stop them entirely, but really, what are you learning from the little photos shown above?

Personally I'm very fond of the logo.

Tom: No argument on the photos -- which is my point. What's the big deal about photos now, especially taken by a non-professional photog. The club will certainly have Golf's/GD's/Golfweek's freelancer come and shoot the course when it is finished from some great angle, just as the sun goes down to accentuate the shadows.

I have no opinion on the logo. It seems kind of plain, that's all.

Golf Course News, that must have a readership of dozens. I've never heard of it and the story on the course was spotty at best. I'm surprised they didn't pick up the phone and call you, Tom, because you're hardly inaccessible. You can even get email quotes from Jack's publicist if you try....
