Bandon Trails vs Hidden Creek question
« on: May 18, 2005, 09:47:49 PM »
Comming back from Hidden Creek I was amazed at the width C&C put into the place.  From all of the images I've seen from Bandon Trails, it does not appear to have the same width.

Am I wrong? Is there width that we just can't see at Bandon Trails in photo's, but on site it's there?

Will the lack of wodth cause the higer handicap players to prefer the other courses?

Trying not to be too harsh on a course yet too open.
Integrity in the moment of choice

Yes you are.  The course has tremendous width.  I told Mike Keiser that I thought it was almost excessive, especially on 6 & 7.  Mike told me in a few months that the width will revert to wispy sand areas like "old Pinehurst".

Yes, width and opportunity will encourage the game.

Start wild with these implements and balls, but when it becomes narrow - then you must improve your game.

John..............And since Bill Coore's last visit two or three weeks ago, the fairways on a number of holes have been narrowed.
