Scott Burroughs,
Ran continues to be nervous about returning to Hidden Creek, site of one of his bitterest defeats. The memories are far, far too painful for him to bear.
It was all there for the taking, and then, it happened.
From the thrill of near victory, he's still experiencing the agony of defeat.
Early on, he confirmed his attendance, but, minor issues like his family and business, coupled with his prior traumatic experience at Hidden Creek caused him to bow out.
I consult with Ran and TEPaul on all get togethers.
I ask TEPaul his opinion on every issue.
Then, whatever his answer, I do the opposite.
That's why these events have been so successful.
Bill Coore's attendance was through the efforts of Roger Hansen, TEPaul and Bob Randquist, and I"m thankful to all three for their help.
Having Bill Coore speak about his work and his work at Hidden Creek and then having the opportunity to play Hidden Creek the same day is a rare opportunity.
As I said to you, your family comes first, but, if you can find a way to get to Egg Harbor Township, you'll enjoy it.
