Why did Adam take down his excellent post...I don't understand why this subject is so hush hush..he made one of the most complementary posts about Rees I had ever read.

Well John there goes your chance to be a golfweek rater... again.   ;)

I was in Arizona last week and got a chance to play your brothers remodel of his own course Longbow.  I liked the course a lot before, but its much better now. One of the best bargains in the valley.

Craig,

Did you see any helicopters when playing there..

Sadly no helicopters, only small planes landing at the nearby airport.

John:

Why did your brother redo a course he just built a few years ago?  I haven't seen it, but I remember it was just opened when we were building Apache Stronghold.

Tom,

A new owner came in and asked him to make some improvements...I think he told me once that it was kinda cool to get to do one of his own courses over.  It is not that there was anything wrong with the first effort but the second came out better....so what else are you gonna do.

I heard they also acquired some additional property. The old course measured about 6700 yards from the back tees, the new one is slightly over 7000 yards.
They incorporated about 5 of the old holes into the routing.

Like I said before, the original course was good, but the new one is better.

Would expect that there would not be any strikes on this cast.

John, I took my post down because I saw your other post about Dr. klein.

It then ocurred to me you were trying to be a nudge, and not in a good way. I thought of calling you and asking if that was your intent, but since there was no other responses, to the thread, I figured you'd be out golfing. So I removed it.

Quintero was also the best conditioned course I have played, perhaps ever.

Adam,

That is fair with my history but this time I was just interested in what happened in Arizona and where.  Can't blame you for your justified paranoia in this instance.  The other post was about Ward and his problems not BK's...
