The greenside bunkering on 4, 13, 14, and 16 and the green alignment on holes 4, 13, and 14 of drawing #2 seem overly repetitive.

Another impressive response...five architects identified.

Wayne
That is an interesting observation. I played a course designed by that architect recently (considered to be one of his finest designs, if not his finest) and although there were a number of very good holes and few great ones, my overall impression was one of monotony.

Tom,

I look forward to finding out the designer of #2 and can understand why you thought the course monotonous.

Are the drawings you posted in the hand of the architects themselves or by draftsmen?

I know that Flynn's drawing style changed dramatically for the better in just a few years (1920-1923).  Flynn's presentation drawings on linen were inked and probably enhanced by W. S. Nicholls of Philadelphia.  I cannot find any information at all on this artist/draftsman.  Nicholls did a wonderful pencil rendering of the clubhouse at Miami Beach Polo Club.  I do not believe the golf course ever was constructed.  There are records of golfers playing for MBPC in tournaments but I cannot find any archival materials that show the course was ever begun let alone completed.

Tom, please check your email.

Tom, to add to some good answers already given....

3. Is Donald Ross and it is Scioto
10. Is Tille and that is Baltimore Five Farm

12. My guess is Robert Trent Jones, but I can not place where I think I have seen this if it is.

I will continue to work at this some more, lots of fun all the same.

#8 keeps wanting to be Royal County Down in my brain, anyone know the between layouts of the course?

Tom    #5 may be Travis plan for Milwaukee Country Club. I
think it was built  but  substantially changed by Alison around
1930.

#5 is Milwaukee Country Club by Travis

Beat me by cyberseconds I see. It definately is, there is a good illustration in Lost Links that confirms it. I knew it was Travis but couldn't figure out which one.

Tom,#2  looks to be Tamarack, a gem by Banks in Greenwich.
Ct.    This is a cool property with lots of elevation change
and several fine holes.

I think 6 is Colt.
I'm going to guess 2 is Alves, based entirely on your clue
I imagine #1 is Banks.

I've never heard of Pelchar.

Mark, nice job on #2

#6 looks like Colt to me

Does Alves has to do with a French Lick remodel?

It is interesting the angular way Banks illustrates the stream.

Pelchar worked in the midwest...mostly Wisconsin I think, although I believe he was based in Chicago.

#8 is clearly Braid, who in America would call it a "motor park"?

Tom,

My powers of deduction tell me that
#1 is Pelchar (if he worked primarily in the north then chances are greated that encountered water)

#4 is Behr, seems to have that line of charm thing going on (resembling 4th at Woking)

#7. by default is Alves
