Really, though, I'm sure someone will come along at some point here and post a link to the MASSIVE thread that gives the low down on who everyone around here is.  

It's been done before.  It's a good read.  It's about 15 pages long.

Won first junior tournament by 10 strokes, it's been all downhill since then.  

Found this site after getting "500 Greatest Holes" book and began looking for more information about Pine Valley.  Realized that I wasn't the only guy that has notebooks filled with sketches of holes they would love to build or play someday.  

Member of the "Friends of Huckaby" society.  

Not a rater, but do read their magazines as they pass the time on my many plane trips.

I am a sitework contractor who has built some golf courses:
The Honors Course
Black Creek Club (also own this.)
Renovation at Lookout Mountain GC, a Raynor.

No black marks on my resume, I don't think ;D

King Oehmig and I co-founded the Seth Raynor Society. (Spring meeting, by the way, May 18-20 in Charleston, SC.)

47 years old, member at the above three courses. Currently a plus 1 who's pretty happy with his game right now, and just moved two doors from the 17th tee at Lookout- which means I will soon be the greatest putter alive since I will be proficient on the 16th Lookout, the toughest plain green to putt I ever saw. (It probably needs to be redone).

I have had the good fortune to play a lot at Stanford GC and Yale GC over the years, which is the foundation for my interest in the "Golden Age" of GCA.  Atlhough I live in Bellevue, I am a member of Pumpkin Ridge down in Portland, and would love to meet and "hit the links" with anyone venturing up to either Seattle or Portland (425-562-6230).

As an aside, I would encourage all to make more use of the IM feature of this discussion group, or to e-mail directly between one another.  Perhaps some of the new guidelines, which I would heartily endorse, will affect this.
