Rough is used as a cross bunker on the uphill portion of the par5,#6 at Pebble Beach.The long driver is rewarded as the second shot easily clears the rough. A short drive results in a lay up versus a very difficult uphill lie in the rough for the third shot.I'm unaware of any other combination of this type-uphill plus cross bunker rough.
