GolfClubAtlas.com Bandon Dunes Trip
The American golf trip of our day!

Co-architect Jim Urbina taking on Hell bunker.

Mike Keiser’s Bandon Dunes, an homage to the game’s history and catalyst to a new era of design, is well known. Now, with a fourth course set to open in June 2010, we’ve planned an insider’s guide to golf’s Field of Dreams.

We’ll play each of the four courses at the Bandon Dunes Resort over three days, including the chance to make first tracks on the Jim Urbina and Tom Doak-designed Old Macdonald Course the week before it opens for public play. Exclusive access to the course is one thing; exclusive access and a visit with Doak is another. Over fine local fare and perhaps a vintage from the Willamette Valley, you’ll have the chance to pick the creative mind of one of driving forces behind one of the game’s most endearing pilgrimages.

May 27–30, 2010—Space limited.
