Michael Block hole in one. It doesn’t get any better than that.

Remember in "Jerry Maguire" where all the athletes fear going on the Roy Firestone show because Roy would made them cry?  Well, that just happened to our man of the hour.  Don't do the interview!  No!

Michael is the Director of Golf very near where I live. Has always been a very good player and is an actual working golf professional.  Sometimes the “club pro” titles thrown around are a bit free to me, but I am really excited that Michael played so well as a guy who will be back at work running things.

Great story this week

That was the best hole-in-one I’ve seen in a long time. What a great week for him. I couldn’t be happier for him. Well done, Michael.

Rob-
Unless you have played there as you and I have it is hard to describe how difficult that up and down on 18 really was for him.  Missing that green that far left with any hole location on the left side of the green is a nightmare scenario. Woods in his prime would get it up and down maybe once in 10 tries.

I thought this was going to be about the boorish fans who booed Bryson and Koepka.

If I were next to one of these jerks I would say something. The crowd needs to shut them down.

Even my non golfing wife commented that these jerk’s should be escorted out.

They were booing Moynihan. The people at Colonial treated me so royally that I feel bad for their modified Korn Ferry tournament this week.

Perhaps not,

He's already got two invites to PGATour events in the upcoming weeks and possibly more on the way!

The booing on the first tee was not bad. Overall I think the LIV players were treated great by the crowd. Personally I only heard one bad comment, but it was really imo about the player not LIV. On Sat Reed's par putt on #6 did a 360 and spit out right back at him. "one person then yelled out you deserve it" My his reaction you could tell he heard it.

Actually John, I didn't laugh. I cringed a little. However I didn't feel bad for him......

Mike-In sport the away team often gets booed. I would guess that many in attendance here and at ensuing PGA events would look at LIV players as the away team. How do you feel when the team that’s away in the Ryder Cup gets booed because in the last twenty five years it’s pretty common? Finally I agree that it’s not the level of decorum that we are used to in professional golf but to get scolded and tossed out is a stretch in my opinion. When are you coming to Yale? ;D
