It is always nice if you can post pictures. Without them they are just words.

ANGC did not like it-enough to send a cease and desist letter which hangs proudly outside the pro shop.
P.S.. Additional points awarded that last year the logo was wearing a covid mask.

I like simplicity and not too garish. I'll leave out Merion, Oakmont, PV, Augusta, etc. as we all know those.

Sorry about the size of the images, don't know how to resize them anyone?

Two of my favorites...

I also would have included Uncle Remus GC in GA, but I have a strict rule that I don't post club logos on best logos threads until after I have played the course.

Lately I have been enjoying the Harbour Town logo. No words, just a nice little lighthouse.

Have two shirts with MPCC logo. Unwearable.

Australia does have some interesting ones. Kingston Heath is too busy IMO.

Royal Adelaide is simple and classy.

Cathedral Lodge is rather good, with just the tree. Can't find an example without the wording.

Royal Melbourne members logo is without the wording and wings and I think nice. Here is with the wording.

You have to chuckle a little bit when you see the Oakmont crest which features an endangered species. Yep, the Oakmont squirrel, a creature which probably had to cross a highway and a railroad track in order to find a nut dropping oak or hickory tree.

Royal Melbourne uses Microgramma for their text. An Italian Font created in 1952.

Robocop is based on The font Alex Murphy.

I've always liked the GB&I lion that the R&A uses for its international matches (https://www.gettyimages.co.uk/detail/news-photo/titleist-balls-with-he-great-britain-and-ireland-lion-team-news-photo/124304190). I think it's a variation on a wider theme given that the B&I Lions Rugby and Cambridge University sports teams use something similar.

The Panmure scallop shell is up there IMO (apologies for inability to post a pic) - and ties in nicely with the local history.

I believe EAstward Ho! was originally at another location moving to it's current location in 1922.  Was the original logo the same as the picture above?  I'm skepticall but honestly don't know.
