I am in, but it would be good to know the dates.  I'll assume it's mid- to late-May.

Thanks, William.

Is it March or May?

For those who haven't played Tokatee, it's a lot of fun in an alpine meadow at the top of the Mackenzie River.  Several holes are carved out of a forest.  Beautiful place.

I'm definitely in! Where's the refund going?

Which campus bars does everyone want to go to? I'll happily be the official guide ;D

Tokatee is a lot of fun, glad to see it make the schedule. If it doesn't rain at all prior to the event, people should try to sneak in a round at Laurelwood, but it's unplayable if it has rained any time within the previous two weeks.

Although the weather can be iffy for the month of March, Tokatee is one of my favorite golf courses and I just had the pleasure of working as a volunteer for the OGA at US Open Qualifier at Eugene CC...I would really enjoy participating in my first KP next year...I will also have a daughter attending a nearby University...William, please let me know where to send a deposit.

thanks everyone for all the interest, more details to follow and I will start collecting dollars soon

albeit the weather can be anything in March, I will guarantee that we will play...

the secret is out on golf at Bandon Jan-March...plan for the worst and hope for the best

I am not a meteorologist and will do my best to get good weather, LOL

Fall is always the best out in Oregon, but is also the best time for golf most everywhere in the northern hemisphere and thus more competition for the King's Putter (eg. Dixie Cup)

so think of March in Oregon as off-season golf, at least for most of the country

it will be fun  ;D

LOL!  ;D

Kings Putter at Bandon Dunes March 2012 - rain suits every day.   You never know in the Pacific NW, but it won't be snowing - most likely.

I might make an appearance. In a nice juxtaposition the new Oregon State Psychiatric Hosptal is only about a mile north of Fiddler's Green.
I passed by it today and hesitated because my handicap is spiking higher than my BP.

Yes but I was there again this past March (almost the same dates, 9th - 11th) and we had about ten drops of rain in three days. Plenty of wind. It was fantastic.

Anyway I would love to make this but am very unlikely. Not for lack of desire!

As the chances are very good that I will be living in Bend Or. at the time of the event, I would love to play if spots are available.

Tokatee is on of my all time favorites, and Emerald Valley is a lot of fun.  Eugene CC needs no introduction.  I spent most of my third year of law school (UO) on the first two.  Would love to make the trip.

I always wanted to attend one of these things, but that was back when I could play a wee bit.
These days, I just suck.  If the golf is the least bit serious, I shouldn’t take up space.  I’ve still got to check my schedule.  Count me interested.

That's OK Dave, you couldn't possibly be worse than Garland or myself.  We were the anchor match, aka the Grudge match, a few years ago at Sagebrush and we lost plenty of strokes and balls in that one...although I did manage to come away victorious on that one. ;D

Dave,

I'm not sure anyone will be serious at this event...life is serious enough as it is.

The goal is to have fun regardless of how many shots you take.

Would Duck cheerleaders at the 18th hole help?
