12 Under after 7

On a recent trip up home, I tracked down a copy of an Australian golf magazine that I had seen in the past.

It contained the following piece about an amazing stretch of golf, played by professional golfer Alex Murray when he was based in New Zealand, at the Titirangi Golf Course.

Holy Moly!!!! :o.  That is almost hard to believe it sounds so unbelievebale.  Can you imagine what the 3 members were thinking.  To start out Albatross, Eagle, Albatross, I just can't fathom that.

A similar thing happened at a course where I worked as a barman in a pennants match (two clubs with 6 low handicapped members each in individual match play). The number 1 from the away team, off the first, went 3 1 3 2 3 (par 4 3 5 3 4) to be 7 under and 4 up through 5 . He subsequently lost 6 and 4 (if memory serves me correctly).

Pretty good.  But not even close to N. Korean Supreme Leader Kim's round of 34 for 18 holes, on a championship par 72 golf course of over 7000 yards.

And that was Kim's first round ever!  Just think what he would shoot if he practiced!

Tony Doty played 4 holes in 10 under. Albatross-Eagle-Eagle-Abatross..... included two holes in one, very hard to beleive IMO.
A combination of whats good for golf and good for turf.

I'm all about those sub 400 yard par five holes...after all, par is all that matters in golf...labels should be applied to everything, just in case we lose our collective minds and decide to get individually creative about something.
