Welcome to the Golf Club Atlas discussion group! We pride ourselves on being a resource for the exploration of golf course architecture. In order to cultivate the best environment for discussion, we have laid out our expectations of each user.
The Golf Club Atlas discussion group is specifically dedicated to golf architecture; sharing non-golf posts goes against the guidelines, including (but not limited to):
- Politics;
- Race or religion;
- Harassment or bullying;
- Not Safe for Work (NSFW) content or anything related;
- Illegal activity.
Rules
Rule One
All users must post under their own name. You must stand behind what you say—that means, no aliases, alternative names, or parody accounts (this excludes widely accepted nicknames like Bill for William, Ted for Theodore, etc, or initials if that’s the common way to refer to someone, ie, A.J., D.K., etc).
Rule Two
Golf Club Atlas is designed to be a respectful discussion group on golf architecture. Posts must follow a “commonsense” approach, meaning you should treat others how you want to be treated.m Everyone has a right to use Golf Club Atlas free of harassment.
Rule Three
Poor manners, including behaviour that stunts active discussion, is in direct violation with the mission of the discussion group.
Rule Four
Authentic content is king. Any cheating or content manipulation—including spamming—or anything to otherwise interfere or disrupt the community will be subject to account removal.
Enforcement
Any user violating the above rules will be subject to Golf Club Atlas‘ disciplinary action:
- A warning from Golf Club Atlas‘ editorial or moderation team;
- A month suspension;
- Account removal and permanent ban.
Please note: Golf Club Atlas staff reserves the right to suspend or ban members of the discussion group for any above violation, depending on the severity of the actions.
