TimI think you did way better than 1 for 9.  I think 12 had a better fit, in that it was in the mature woods, and the slope of the hill gave it an immediate mature look.  I was at first studying the green for Langford tendencies and thinking how cool it was when I realized It probably had to be new where it was located. As for other holes, I also liked 3, 7, 8 and 9 and also 5.  What are you going to do to the bunkers?  I think I know what you mean.  Maybe try making them more primitive on bottom, rather than  the slightly modern flowing, curving edge, or will you modify the grass faces?  I would love to hear your view, I redid a green last fall on the Langford course where I grew up and got it pretty close to mimicking their style, but did not do a pure imitation with one of the bunkers(if I even could).  Still not sure exactly what I shoud have done  (long story) .  I am hoping they may realize what they have someday and try to get it back.By the way it was not until I was going down 18 at Harrison Hills, checking out old 3 that I was sure the tee shot for 13 was new.  I thought the landing area you created was very "Langfordesque".  It seemed original, yet perfectly in tune with what they might have done.  Heck, I am not even completely sure I am right about it being new.

The sixth hole at Seminole is 378 yards from the back tee.
