Artistic Pennants

With snow on the ground in Hilton Head, South Carolina one's thoughts drift towards........flagstick pennants.
Admittedly this is somewhat derivative of posts such as which courses have the coolest logos but I am curious to know where the treehouse has noticed flagstick pennants of note that demonstrate some effort at presentation?
I love my Cruden Bay pennant even though, or perhaps because, it is primarily the heraldic CB shield logo on a white field and that is ok.
Merion's baskets are interesting but they are not pennants. And I understand those who prefer only minimalist hole number as well. Thanks for your comments.

Belvedere was the first one that came to mind as a really nicely done pennant.

I love golf pennants. Here's couple I think are fun. First, a burgee from White Bear Yacht Club. It is actually the same kind of flag used for the sailboats that the club was built around.

Next, the flag from Panmure, up the road from Carnoustie.

Finally, a flag from Monterey Peninsula CC.

Bit off topic, but I have sketches and prototypes of “lantern flags” I’m trying to get in the ground here in Japan.


You see them everywhere here - restaurants, temples, sidewalks - took me long enough to think: maybe one of those lanterns would look good on a flagstick, on a golf course somewhere.


Have no idea how to share a picture ( should be resolved with all the website upgrades ), but, to stay in the pennant race: best one I own is an antique flag from Kawana. It’s tiny ! And faded red, and made of silk I believe. I keep it in my sock drawer, along with my Father’s watches and my Ken Griffey Jr. Rookie Card from 3rd grade.
