Well done to all involved in its creation.
Long may it and others like it continue.

The shot through the tunnel looks very difficult. Does anything that lands nearby funnel through it?

The Tunnel looks like the youth version of The Pit. Great stuff.

Reminds me of the Reverse Jans, which is a high compliment. IYKYN

I love the penguin hole designed by an 8-year-old. What a great idea. It has to be the coolest course I've ever seen for kids. It teaches them that golf is fun and that they can hit various shots.

The tunnel also is a nod to the timber clad player tunnel from 17th green at Hollywood GC, NJ (restored by Brian)

Many kids crawl through the tunnel to get to the green, but 17 at Hollywood wasn’t something we were thinking of as inspiration.

We were actually inspired by mini golf courses and tried to implement the idea of a tunnel or a portal on a bigger scale.

We played the other day, and while it does work, we’d like it to work better. May need to tweak the surrounds or grass it a bit differently (there’s synthetic turf at both ends of the pipe to encourage the ball to keep moving)

Great fun!

As you tweak it maybe consider a timber framing the entrance/exit to tie it in?

"Nod" was probably the wrong word/inferenece, it just jumped into my mind that I recalled visiting Hollywood earlier this year, to walk the course, that I loved that quirky feature through the berm and the tunnel reminded me of it in miniature.

What you have both created is (from photos, videos and reports) so special and the Kid's Course is an awesome addition.

Cheers!

We really enjoyed the Kids course a couple of weeks ago . The greens are very severe but in a good way. One member of our group had a hole in one on the 15th and final hole- lots of areas where slopes directly funnel balls towards pins- makes for exciting shots. I've played OB 5 times now and the course is so much fun.  Its very demanding but certainly one of the best courses built in recent years. A special place.
