Apes Hill Barbados

Just read a very glowing account of Apes Hill Barbados on TheFirstCall.com. Anyone here familiar with the course as revised in 2022 by Ron Kirby? Curious as to quality of the place in terms of standard rating criteria and whether it's more than a tropical sightseeing luxury in terms of the golf.

I did an interview with Ron in
GCA
not long before he died. He was charm personified, and I've wanted to see Apes Hill ever since, but I wouldn't give much credence to an unbylined PR puff piece like that.
