There are many different styles/types of bunkers used on courses but how often have different types/styles been used on one course and how different were they? You have bunkers with flat bottoms and steep sides, uneven bottoms and gradual sloping sides, you have blow out bunkers, pot bunkers, irregular bunkers with long grass at the top, irregular with long grass all around, and so on.  When I first thought about this I tried to remember courses with very distinctly different types of bunkers throughout the course and I am having a hard time thinking of any.  Your thoughts?

Jerry -

Castle Stuart has a mixture of bunker looks/styles. Nice video here of Gil Hanse here talking about how the bunkers were designed and built.

Isn’t NGLA the poster child for this?

Constantly blamed by 8-handicaps for their 7 missed 12-footers each round.
