The few in the series I've watched so far are all pretty well done.

Must be a good course if they re made the video  ;)

In all seriousness, these are the best thing GD puts out. I love the NGLA one with Gil Hanse.

I just watched the Every Hole at Cabot St. Lucia Point Hardy - and wow - what a feast for the senses.

Never having been there—

1. They added a lot of length, didn’t they? What’s the total now?

2. Despite what he said in the video, those Fazio bunkers on 2 and 12 don’t seem to look quite right, which I think I’ve heard others who’ve been there say as well. But I don’t know how they look on the ground.

3. Why don’t people like the right green on 8?

I've really been enjoying this series, especially when they get Bill Coore to discuss his courses.

It's generally a great series.

However Jerry Tarde was WAY over the top on this one on his narrative. PV shouldn't need Jerry's marbled anecdotes for the viewer to know it's a special place.

I liked the narration by Jerry which added context to the piece especially for those unfamiliar with Pine Valley. His style somewhat reminded me of the narration used in the Warren Miller ski movies or at least the older ones.

I agree with Tim.  An example of OTT is Jim Nantz's narration of the CPC video.  Jerry Tarde sounded like Steven Wright in comparison.

Yeah I agree. The 12th just kind of stood out as....different? I actually had no idea about Fazio adding all the bunkers on 12 until I read your comment. It makes sense now. Maybe give it a few decades and it will blend in better and look like the rest of the bunkering.
the interviewer asked beck how he felt "being the bob dylan of the 90's" and beck quitely responded "i actually feel more like the bon jovi of the 60's"
