F&R is a total joy to play and Mike M a really terrific guy. I wish them all the best with the quest. If you’ve got a few spare bucks, take the opportunity to have a membership at a cracking Scottish venue.
Cheers,

Yes, F&R is quite a place. Hard to believe Braid was able to rout 18 holes on that narrow peninsula. At times it can feel like you are playing golf on the deck on an aircraft carrier out at sea.

Very sorry to hear this. Of course what nature takes away as erosion nature also deposits somewhere else and the spit that F&T is on is an example of coastal deposition in the past.
I played the course last year and its a delightful scenic spot for a game and a terrific course on which to play the hard running, firm and fast, bouncy variety of the game that many cherish.
I wish the club all the best for the level of recovery they seek and for the future.
