Many thanks to Joe and Pete Trenham for a great evening.


The amount of golf course/club development in Philadelphia between 1900 and the Depression is truly remarkable and
Joe and Mr. Trenham did a great job bringing life to a lot of courses otherwise lost to the mist of time.


Wonderful to see such a large contingent of GCA'ers including a surprise visit by Adam Messix (who must have the foremost collection of scorecards for NLE courses in the world) and the return of some GCA legends and nearly legends including the most legendary legend of them all!

A very large walkup audience showed so the talk had 70 listeners. It was a very good day. So many GCAers were there.

Bala generously hosted many of us to play the golf course before the talk. The conditioning and presentation were superb.
