TCC Gets 2038 US Open, 2045 USWO, 2034 US Am

Glad to see them headed back to Brookline for the Ouimet 125th and the 100th US Women's Open in 2045, although I was hoping an Open or Women's Open would arrive sooner. I guess they just don't have many available dates.

What will the USGA have to do to the course to make it relevant?

In the case of 2045, a championship scheduled by people, some of whom will be dead when it is played, before some of the people who will play in it will have been born.

I guess we can’t predict how far the Top 100 players in the world will be hitting it in 2045. Or what measures the governing bodies will (finally) take to limit the distance the ball travels in that time, but Brookline stood up pretty well in 2022.

Having attended both the 2013 Amateur and last year’s Open, I was amazed at how much distance Matt Fitzpatrick gained over those 9 years.
