I'm sure some of you are aware of the R&A's Golf Course 2030 initiative which is looking at Sustainability, Biodiversity and Climate Change. As part of this the R&A has partnered with the RSPB ( https://community.rspb.org.uk/ourwork/b/actionfornature/posts/working-with-golf-courses-to-create-greenspaces-for-nature )  on a number of initiatives, one of which included producing this short video which features my own course Hollinwell (Notts Golf Club), which I thought some of you might be interested in seeing:

(If the video doesnt appear, navigate away and back to the Biodiversity page and it shoudl be there!)  ::)

Cheers,

James

Sustainability should priority 1,2, and 3. Biodiversity will come naturally to properly maintained properties who follow golf course BMP’s. The laundry list of benefits from turfed surfaces is long and turfgrass can assist in mitigating climate change symptoms.
