Golf Club of Wakefield, Philadelphia

Does anyone have further information on the Golf Club of Wakefield in Philadelphia? Joseph Mickle Fox was the President of the Club. Did Fox lay out the course? He owned the property of Wakefield and died there in 1918.

Fox is also credited with laying out the Clarion County, PA Foxburg Golf course in the 1880s.

See the below images I have collected.

Karl,

I believe Wakefield was the name of the Fox family estate in the Germantown section of Philadelphia.

This one I've not heard of, Karl.  That's a real knuckleball you threw me there.  ;)

That's a first.
We have a pool and a pond, the pond would be good for you.

I thought Joe and Mike would appreciate knowing about this 1895 newspaper article. I can't find a thing otherwise but the names listed in the article appear to be many of Fox's cricket buddies.
