Holliday Farms, Zionsville IN - Pete Dye
« on: June 22, 2021, 06:32:14 AM »
This is a new development on the northwest side of Indianapolis. I have not been on site yet to take a look, but there are some photos of the course posted on their website:  https://www.hollidayfarmszionsville.com/gallery

I'll leave it to those of you more knowledgeable to comment on how it looks.

Well, the course looks pretty tight, but from what I can see the holes look interesting.

I'm mostly just hung up on the part where, if you look at Google Maps, you can see that Wolf Run had already gone to seed before Holliday Farms had more than a hole or two shaped. It's hard to believe how quickly the Zionsville golf market has evolved.

I did play Chatham Hills a couple of years ago, which looks to be similar to the Holliday Farms development in many ways. Less than 10 miles away as the birdie flies, that course IMO provided plenty of room within the fairways.
