Just looked at a boat chase scene in that old classic b-movie "Murph the Surf" to see if I could spot Indian Creek. Not sure though it might be in a background shot
I'd venture that Indian Creek has less members than Seminole and might be harder to get in also. Your golfing prowess wouldn't necessarily benefit near as much as it's northern neighbor. Don't know whether car magnate Norman Braman became a member there but pretty sure the anti Jewish sentiment was run up and down the flagpole pretty good as to why he was blocked. I have no idea if that was the case and probably wouldn't postulate here if I did.
I've seen photographs of the island during construction and it's pretty easy to find if you google it for any who want to read the story of how it came to be. It's become quite an enclave over the years that have passed and you can understand why the super rich feel comfy and safe there. Unless you are like the aforementioned "Murph" if you are on the island they know you are there!
As to the course again it really requires you to be an excellent wedge player, ala Raymond Floyd who played there for many years. He would tune up for the tour there with some big money games against members who weren't afraid to bet and could play. It was and is quite the place. It would surely qualify as a course most of us would really enjoy every day. lots of wind some really tricky par threes and some risk reward shots if you choose to attack.
