2021 MASHIE GROUP PIC!

The 2021 Midwest Mashie is in the books and the Mashie Remains with the West. The event was overwhelmingly enjoyable and hilarious.  Thurm has the final scores and says it was a definitive win. We had so much fun breaking the monotony of COVID, I figure we’ll find out sometime. The West team however was able to repel Thurman's rampant abuse of free agency.

Keith Foster absolutely and excellently crushed the renovation of a previously excellent Keith Foster design.

And thanks to our friends at Davenport CC and the Cedar Rapids CC, we were able to schedule a fantastic and enjoyable Race Across Iowa.
We kicked off with Mashie Attendee Tee times at 8:40 AM in Davenport.  Then after the morning 18 holes, we scrammed to a set of 3pm Tee times at Cedar Rapids, capped by a dinner and drinks.

The weekend at Harvester was outstanding. Once I get through the swampy laundry, I'll add more pictures and descriptions but to summarize, it was fantastic to see the Mashie crew in person, and hear the trash mumbling across fairways, from friends old and new.

Words of encouragement to Richard D! We missed your heckling and hope to see you as a guest at the next episode.

Thank you to the members of Cedar Rapids, Davenport, and the Harvester for opening their golf homes to our crew.
It was like we all escaped from an asylum and met up on a golf course.
