We’ve had a reasonable amount of rain in Edinburgh over the past couple of weeks. Admittedly I’ve not played NB since before lockdown but Gullane was definitely a lot greener when I played no. 3 a couple of weeks ago. Inevitably the best of our weather was during the spell when courses were closed.

Not that far south, we were browning up again last week and conditions were very fast and very firm.  Rain last night and today will have calmed things a bit.

In July I will be riding two stages of this year's Tour de France route for charity, including Mont Ventoux for the William Wates Memorial Trust (https://rideleloop.org/the-charity/) which supports underprivileged young people.

Nothing like that at NB at the moment. Been a warm and wet couple of weeks so pretty green and the rough is really getting up in areas not far off the fairway.

Pretty dry up here in the Highlands though it looks like we will get plenty of rain in the next day or two.

it looks like many European countries will not have to deal with quarantine but looking at how rampant Covid-19 is in the US I doubt it will be lifted for people coming from there any time soon.
