Unrelated Courses With Contiguous Borders
« on: October 27, 2019, 09:50:18 AM »
If there is a road or body of water that forms the border that is not contiguous. Additionally if they are sister courses i.e. Bandon, Bethpage, Streamsong they are not eligible. Here are two to start:

Oak Hill East/Irondequoit
ANGC/Augusta CC

Twining Road is the border between LuLu and Manufacturers and would not qualify. I think Hollywood and Deal are separated by Roseld Ave. NCR/Moraine is a good one.

No roads??

Good thing I didn't mention RTJ and Stonewall at Lake Manassas which are contiguous separated only by said lake.   ;)

Mike-I specified in the opening post no roads or bodies of water. Don’t make me reference the Bausch collection for anecdotal evidence. ;) ;D

Irondequoit  which outshines the bland holes of Oakhill East

Moraine's cool fifth green is a few steps away from NCR's elevated third tee!!

Does NGLA softly touch either Shinnecock's third or Sebonack's ninth?

There is a 9 hole course adjacent to Firestone CC - North called Raymond C. Firestone Golf Course.  Chain link fence divides them.

In this exercise not even close as they are more than three miles apart. Apparently I have to keep you guys honest. ;)

Southampton,Shinnecock, National, Sebonack
though two of the courses themselves are crossed by roads, they do not form the border between the two/three/four courses

also Lundin and Leven

In Australia:
New South Wales - St Michaels - The Coast

Royal Melbourne - Sandringham, with Victoria - Cheltenham across the street

Metropolitan & Huntingdale have a small road between them
