So this morning a few players were sitting on the porch shootin' the breeze after their rounds and the FedEx Cup came up in the conversation. They were mostly in agreement that the new format for the Tour Championship was now going to be little more than a sandbaggers delight (I kept mum, but didn't disagree with them), where low gross could easily lose.
One of them said it was a travesty that it was still being played at East Lake. He felt that giving the leader a 10 stroke head start was a contrivance, so they ought to take it to a course like BPBlack, where, in his estimation, the course would match the scoring system.
I did ask him one question: "Have you ever heard of GCA?"
