Great video. The host Eric makes enjoyable podcasts as well. He was chosen to play ANGC this year in the media lottery and played with 10 clubs. He gets it.

He gets it because he flew to Australia and then drove ten hours to play there and/or because he played ANGC with 10 clubs? You couldn’t get me to go on that trip with your money.

He doesn’t get it if he insists on using more than 7-8 clubs. I’m sorry, that’s just wrong.

What a great video. I wonder what the superintendent does.

He also safeguards the supplies at the local watering hole (19th hole) - which is most likely underground. They also proudly serve Swannay, Old Norway. (though that's only a guess)

Erik definitely gets it. He's an interesting guy. His ex wife is the singer Sia. They lived in Hancock Park and since she knew he loved golf, she bought him a junior (under 45) membership at Wilshire. (none of this is betraying any confidences as he has spoken about it a number of times on social media). After their split, he kept the membership for a couple of years until dropping it last month, mostly because he travels so much he couldn't use it enough. Leaving the club is the subject of his latest podcast, which along with his Instagram is a worthwhile follow and getting very popular, especially among the under 40 crowd.
He's at Pinehurst this week for the official opening of #4 and is recording a podcast with Brad Klein, which should be really good. (warning, his pods can be very "stream of consciousness" at times). He truly loves the game for all the right reasons and has a knack for being able to translate that into his videos and podcasts.
